Madhesh lies in the southern part of Nepal. Maithili, Bhojpuri, Awadhi, Tharu are the major languages of the region. Madhesh is the integrated identity of the Maithil, Bhojpuriya, Awadhis and Tharu people along with other minorities. It covers almost 17% land of whole area of Nepal but still more than 50% of the total population lives here.
